The following will be the broad objectives of the Society:

1. Arranging Annual and other Conferences, Seminars, Summer Schools, Winter Schools, Faculty Development Programmes, Workshops, and Symposia in different parts of India.

2. Promoting the development of econometric methodologies among students, researchers, scholars, and teachers of various colleges and universities in India.

3. Undertaking consultancy and advisory services, aiding, promoting monitoring, and coordinating action research projects in Applied Economics subject.
